Terence Hogan, FCPA
I began my professional career in 1982 working as a graduate for my father in the well known north Queensland practice Patrick Hogan & Hogan. I pride myself on being detail focused with a wealth of knowledge and understanding of business success and operations.
In 2001, I was instrumental along with a dedicated and enthusiastic team in the evolvement of the new business Hogan & Associates CPA, where we specialise in a wide range of accounting and taxation services.
As a CPA accountant I believe in keeping up to date with tax law and legislation, and I strive to deliver professional advice and service to families and business in far north Queensland. I have recently received the honour of becoming an FCPA for 20 years experience as a CPA accountant.

I have been part of Hogan’s, supporting my husband Terence and our fantastic team since our two children started school.
I am involved in the marketing of our business and work with other administration team members on recruitment, advertising, and client functions.
I enjoy socialising and being with people and strive to keep a lighthearted yet professional ambience within the office environment.

I joined the team at Hogan & Associates in 2008 while studying for my Bachelor of Commerce. Now a degree qualified accountant, I enjoy working closely with our clients providing taxation and BAS services as well as assisting them to be compliant with current tax law and lodgement requirements.
I like the small business approach and working with the staff at Hogan’s to provide reliable business services & timely results for our clients.
Senior Accountant, Business Services
I joined the Hogan team back in 1994, completing my CPA studies in 1997. Around that time, I took responsibility for our self-managed superannuation funds and have specialised in that area for many years, while continuing to work in audit and taxation as well. I am now phasing towards retirement and recently reduced my work time from two mornings per week to one morning per week.
I enjoy being available to mentor the younger accountants and share my experience when unusual issues arise.
Accounting & Taxation Manager, Business Services
A local from the Innisfail region, I have been working for Hogan & Associates since 2006 after successfully completing a Diploma in Business Management. I work closely with the managing partner and senior accountants to provide our small to large clients with positive outcomes for their financial requirements.
During my time working for Hogan & Associates, I have gained experience spanning the accounting & taxation discipline and client management services.
After marrying my husband in 2010, I have become a part of a well established, successful banana brand Fresh Yellow and have undertaken an understanding of the difficulties and triumphs faced with business owners in today’s economical times.
Client Services Manager, Business Services
I was born and bred in Innisfail and joined the Hogan & Associates Team in January 2004 as an administration officer, managing the billing, taxation and administration side of the practice. I now have a young family and currently work with the team on a part-time basis.
I provide administrative and accounting support to our professional and business services team including the preparation of fringe benefits tax returns & journals. I enjoy helping clients prepare their books and assist with their BAS and also manage the business IT requirements for the practice.
Administrator, Client Services
As an administrator I am a strong support to our firm’s reception, responding to and assisting clients & work colleagues. Primarily my responsibilities are collation and lodgement of completed client work and the preparation and processing of accounts.
Joining the team in 2006, subsequent to roles within retail management & hospitality – delivers my ethics of commitment to providing high levels of service. I am enthusiastically involved with the organisation of team social club events, and working in the hub of our office I have the benefit and enjoyment of utilising this as an advantage to uphold and promote a positive working environment.

I began my professional career alongside my father in 2013 working as an undergraduate accountant while studying at James Cook University. I completed my Bachelor of Business majoring in Accounting & Financial Management at the end of 2015. I commenced the CPA program at the beginning of 2016 and am in the process of obtaining that qualification.
Working in all areas of taxation and auditing, I am learning the ropes of the accounting profession with the excellent guidance from all co-workers around me. I pride myself on being a diligent hard working person and look forward to the challenges that lie ahead in both my academic and career path chosen. I am proud and determined to follow in my father’s, grandfather’s and great grandfather’s footsteps by contributing to the success and dedication that the company has portrayed to the accounting profession for over 60 years.
Kimberley Ganley, CPA
Senior Accountant, Business Services
I grew up in Innisfail and completed a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Accounting & Finance in 2009 at JCU Cairns while working. I was awarded the Joyce and Edward Lee Shield for highest achieving final year accounting student at JCU Cairns. I also became a Justice of the Peace (Qualified) in 2009.
I work in all areas of taxation and pride myself on keeping a well rounded knowledge base, however, my passion is Superannuation. I joined the team at Hogan & Associates in 2013, completing my CPA studies in 2015. I am committed to providing a complete service to clients and strive to always do my best and help out wherever possible.
Practice Bookkeeper, Client Services
As the newest member of the team at Hogan & Associates, I join the team with over 20 years’ experience in the manufacturing and construction industry as an office manager. With my experience I understand all aspects of small business and the challenges they are faced today.
My role at Hogan & Associates is to provide support to the accountants in preparing the financial statements and tax returns.
