Terence Hogan


Terence Hogan, FCPA
Managing Partner
Terence began his professional career in 1982 working as a graduate for his father in the well-known north Queensland practice Patrick Hogan & Hogan. Terence prides himself on being detail focused with a wealth of knowledge and understanding of business success and operations. 

In 2001, Terence was instrumental along with a dedicated and enthusiastic team in the evolvement of the new business Hogan & Associates CPA, where they specialise in a wide range of accounting and taxation services. 

As a CPA accountant Terence believes in keeping up to date with tax law and legislation, and strives to deliver professional advice and service to families and businesses in far north Queensland. Terence has recently received the honour of becoming an FCPA for 20 years’ experience as a CPA accountant.




Michelle Hogan

Michelle Hogan
HR, Marketing & Administration
Michelle has been a part of Hogan & Associates, supporting her husband Terence and their team since her two children started school.

Michelle is involved in the marketing of the business and works with other administration team members on recruitment, advertising, and client functions. She enjoys socialising and being with people and strives to keep a light-hearted yet professional ambience within the office environment.




Anne Edwards


Anne Edwards
Accountant, Business Services
Anne joined the team at Hogan & Associates in 2008 while studying for her Bachelor of Commerce. Now a degree qualified accountant, Anne enjoys working closely with clients providing taxation and BAS services as well as assisting them to be compliant with current tax law and lodgement requirements.

Anne likes the small business approach and working with the staff at Hogan’s to provide reliable business services & timely results for their clients.




Katrina Cini


Katrina Cini
Client Services Manager, Business Services
Katrina was born and bred in Innisfail and joined the Hogan & Associates Team in January 2004 as an administration officer, managing the billing, taxation and administration side of the practice. Katrina now has a young family and is currently working with the team on a part-time basis. 

Katrina provides administrative and accounting support to the professional and business services team including the preparation of fringe benefits tax returns & journals. Katrina enjoys helping clients prepare their books and assist with their BAS and also manages the business IT requirements for the practice.




Kylie Wilson


Kylie Wilson
Administrator, Client Services
As an administrator Kylie is a strong support to the firm’s reception, responding to and assisting clients & work colleagues. Primarily Kylie’s responsibilities are collation and lodgement of completed client work and the preparation and processing of accounts. 

Joining the team in 2006, subsequent to roles within retail management & hospitality – delivers Kylie’s ethics of commitment to providing high levels of service. Kylie is enthusiastically involved with the organisation of team social club events, and working in the hub of the office she has the benefit and enjoyment of utilising this as an advantage to uphold and promote a positive working environment.




Madeline Hogan


Madeline Hogan, CPA
Accountant, Business Services
Madeline began her professional career alongside her father in 2013 working as an undergraduate accountant while studying at James Cook University. Madeline completed her Bachelor of Business majoring in Accounting & Financial Management in 2015. She continued on with her studies to obtain her CPA qualification in 2018. 

Madeline is very proud and determined to follow in her father, grandfather and great grandfather’s footsteps by contributing to the success and dedication that the company has portrayed to the accounting profession for over 70 years. Madeline enjoys working in all areas of taxation, auditing and superannuation but has a passion to the continuing success of her local small business clients.

Outside of work hours Madeline enjoys and a competitive game or two at the local Innisfail and Tully Netball associations.




Kimberley Ganley


Kimberley Ganley, CPA
Senior Accountant, Business Services
Kimberley grew up in Innisfail and completed a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Accounting & Finance at JCU Cairns. She graduated in 2009 and was awarded the Joyce and Edward Lee Shield for highest achieving final year accounting student.

Kimberley is a Justice of the Peace (Qualified), registered Company Auditor and member of the CPA.

Kimberley works in all areas of taxation, superannuation and audit and prides herself on keeping a well-rounded knowledge base.  This variety of work ensures that her knowledge of current trends and issues in the private and public sector is up-to-date. . Kimberley joined the team at Hogan & Associates in 2013.  She is committed to providing a complete service to clients and is passionate about her clients’ businesses.  Kimberley strives to always do her best and is committed to ensuring her clients’ sustainability and success.

Out of the office, Kimberley enjoys camping with her husband and son and volunteering at local sporting associations.




Thierry Dunne


Thierry Dunne
Practice Bookkeeper, Client Services
Thierry joined the team at Hogan & Associates in 2015 with 30 years’ experience in bookkeeping, payroll and administration in the manufacturing and construction industry.  

As well as maintaining the practices’ books Thierry’s role is to provide administration support to the Managing Partner and accountants.  This includes a variety of tasks including WorkCover, employment condition, company setup and corporate compliance.




Jenny Jones


Jenny Jones
Receptionist, Client Services

Born and raised in Innisfail, Jenny began her working career in administration.  After relocating to Cairns she continued working within administration gaining knowledge in payroll, reception and general bookkeeping duties.

Moving back to Innisfail after 15 years to be closer to family, Jenny gained further experience in administration as a Practice Administrator before commencing her role as receptionist with Hogan & Associates in 2017.

Outside of work Jenny enjoys being with family, friends, the beach and camping.  Jenny is an active patrolling member of 33 years and Life Member of Etty Bay Surf Life Saving Club.




Lauren Preece


Lauren Preece
Client Services Manager, Business Services

Lauren, who is the newest member of the Hogan & Associates team, brings previous experience in administration and bookkeeping duties.  She is keen to learn more about the accounting and taxation field by working alongside the accountants as she continues to study towards completing her Bachelor of Business, majoring in Accounting.

Lauren is looking forward to working closely with clients to provide a professional service whilst staying compliant with the current laws. She prides herself on being a diligent hard working person and looks forward to the challenges that lie ahead in her chosen career path.





Jenny Dall
Senior Accountant, Business Services
Jenny joined the Hogan team back in 1994, completing her CPA studies in 1997. Around that time, Jenny took responsibility for the self-managed superannuation funds and has specialised in that area for many years, while continuing to work in audit and taxation as well. Jenny is now phasing towards retirement and recently reduced her work time from two mornings per week to one morning per week.

Jenny enjoys being available to mentor the younger accountants and share her experience when unusual issues arise.
